He was predeceased by: his wife Celeste Florence; his daughter Karen Carlassare; his parents, Emily Kotowski and Edward M. Kotowski Sr.; and his sisters, Dolores King (late Herbie) and Rita Olmos (late Mike).
He is survived by: his daughter Joyce McHale (Martin); his grandchildren, James Carlassare (Isabelle), Rachel Carlassare, Kelly Melzer (Steve) and Caitlin McHale; and his great grandchildren, Carina Carlassare, Kylie McHale and Taylor Melzer.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home (530 W 14th St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411). A Mass was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Heights/St Kieran Church (724 195th St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411).
