Edith Carol Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2021, at the age of 86, Edith Carol Smith of Channahon, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Todd of Minooka, IL. and Erma Mae Todd; and her siblings, Gene Todd, Leo C. Todd, Phyllis Brown and Beverly Pogliano.
She is survived by: her significant other Leo J. Smith; the mothers of children, Roxanne Lanoue (Rene "Skip") and Benita Schilling (Smith); her son Leo C. Smith; her grandchildren, Matthew Lanoue (Liz), Aimee Krall-Lanoue (Aaron), Jonathan Schilling, Rachel Osborne-Schilling (Justin) and Jael Smith; her great grandchildren, Paige Lanoue, Graham Krall-Lanoue, Rene Krall-Lanoue, Lyric Smith, Ledger Smith, Adeline Osborne, Nick Stablein and Mary Stablein; and her sisters, Bonnie Torkelson (late Al) and Glenda "Micky" Todd. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials in her name can be made to Lightways Hospice of Joliet who were so comforting and caring in Carol's last days.
