Della F. Rains Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Della F. Rains of Channahon, Illinois, who passed away on April 21, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Avis Blankenship and Kelly R. Blankenship; her husband Boyd W. Rains; and her brothers, Ronnie, Gary and Jim Blankenship.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Startz (Tim), Stephen Rains and Diana Daggett (Mark); her grandchildren, Tiffany Startz, Taylor Rivera, Cassie Thomas (David), Octavia Daggett and Cori Hougas (Matt); her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Gabriela, Braelynn, Grayson and Liam; and her sisters, Donna Curry and Nita Rose. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
