It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curt L. Wingerter (Channahon, Illinois), born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on March 31, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Naomi Wingerter; his wife Lynda S. Wingerter; his children, Grace Wingerter and Zach Wingerter of Channahon; his father Billy Wingerter of Braidwood; his siblings, Rick Wingerter (Pat) of Channahon, Michael Wingerter (Trish) of Pennsylvania, Cory Wingerter (Devin) of Joliet, Neva Weedon (David) of Chebanse and Tammy Sandefur (Scott) of Braidwood; his nephew Nicholas; his mother-in-law Sue Levandowski (late Ed) of Shorewood; and his brother-in-law Scott Larkin (Amy) of Crest Hill. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins including his godson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the "Wingerter Family" for a fund to be established for his children's education.
