He is survived by: his parents, John Underhill and Pamela Underhill; his wife Brandy; his son Brooks of Channahon; his sister Jennifer Devereux (Jim) of Channahon; his grandmother Phyllis Underhill of Morris; his niece Allison; his nephew Evan Devereux of Channahon; his parents-in-law, Curtis and Sherry Harris of Channahon; and his great-grandparents, Bill "Moose" and Marjorie "Roxy" Pfaff of Morris.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an education fund for Brooks that will be established at a later date.
