We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2025, at the age of 73, Glenn P. Sundberg Jr. of Chana, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Glenn P. Sundberg. He is survived by: his mother Lillian Sundberg Sr. (Williamson) of Bishop Hill; his wife Glenda K. Perrine; his mother-in-law Joyce Yoakum; his children, Troy Sundberg (Lidia) of Clover, SC, Eric Kelly of Loves Park, IL, Joshua Perrine of Dekalb, IL and Jennifer Perrine of Rockford, IL; his siblings, Richard Sundberg (Vicki) of Ocala, FL, James Sundberg (Pat) of Ocala, FL, Christine "Tina" Krause of Land O' Lakes, FL, Sandra Strand of Bishop Hill, Barbara Gonzales (Robert) of Stone Mountain, GA and Jean Sims (Wayne) of Lawrenceville, GA; and his pet Coco. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Rux Funeral Homes (313 Market St, Galva, IL 61434). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Serenity Hospice in Oregon, IL.
