She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie L. Mitchell and Hattie L. Mitchell Davis; her husband Bishop Abe Richardson; and her sister Wendolyn Mitchell Smith. She is survived by: her former husband Larry C. Hightower; her daughter Jacquelyn; her sister Gwendolyn Johnson (Gregory); and her children, Jacqueline Peebles (Tony), LaTonya Hightower-Welch, LaMillia Grayson (Eric), Andre Richardson and Alan Richardson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren; 8 nieces, 1 nephew, a host of God-sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.
