He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hubert Royster and Eugenia Allen Mitchell; his wife Patricia; his children, William Mitchell (Lisa) of Urbana and Lisa Sirbu of Champaign; his grandchildren, William R. Mitchell, III and Lily Mitchell; his daughters, Beth Buttitta (Jeff) of Fishers, IN and Amy Fuiten (Dax) of Morton; his grandchildren, Olivia, Noah Buttitta, Drew and Lexi Fuiten; and his sister Janet Johnson of Lansing, NC.
