He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael McGann and Magdalene "Lena" McGann (Werner); his siblings, Robert "Bob" McGann and Mary "Mame" Irwin; and his son-in-law Evan Coobs.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Ann McGann (Hoscheit); his children, Dr. William McGann (Ellen) of Johns Creek, Kevin McGann (Renee) of Gretna, Michael McGann (Teresa) of St. Charles and Karen Coobs of Champaign, Illinois; his grandchildren, Alex McGann, Jessica Kempton (McGann), William McGann III, Todd McGann, Evan "Drew" Coobs II, Courtney Gatlin (McGann), Abigail Brinkoetter (Coobs) and Katherine Chesnut (Coobs); his great grandchildren, Kayla Coobs, Evan "Van" Coobs III and Nolan Kempton; his sister Joanne Greenwald of Batavia, Illinois.; and his grandsons, Billy, Casey, Drew and Glen.
