She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Cox and Emma Cox; her husband George M. Simpson; her brother Carl Cox of Urbana; and her grandson Corey Simpson of Mahomet.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Simpson (Patti Turner) of Mahomet, Cheryl Dixon (Andy) of Champaign, Nancy Schwalbe (late Thomas Schwalbe) of Savoy, Cindy McGrath (Gary) of White Heath and Beverly McGill (Brian) of Champaign.
