With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Smith of Champaign, Illinois, born in Edgewood, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Ragle and Hazel Ragle (Liggett); and her husband Cecil Smith. She is survived by: her son Cecil "George" Smith (Carolyn) of Champaign; her grandchildren, Jamie Michael and Amanda; and her siblings, Joanne Erley and Roger Ragle (Doreen). She is also survived by four great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made in Virginia's honor to OSF Hospice of Champaign County.
