He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson P. Smith and Corinne Smith. He is survived by: his spouse Gay Smith (Gilbert); his brother Robert E. Smith (Ola); his children, Dawn Cross (Martin), Lara Christensen and Thomas Smith Jr.; his grandchildren, Caitlin Cross, Gentre Ross, Aneesa Nelsen, Clayton Nelsen and Anna Smith; and his great grandchild Kailynn.
