He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Patrick Slattery and Betty Jane Weber Slattery; his daughters, Christine "Chris" Starkey (Gale) of St. Louis and Teresa "Teri" Wilke (Andy) of Urbana; his grandchildren, Emily and Michael Starkey; and his brother Dave Slattery (Mary Michael) of Morrisonville. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
