She is survived by: her children, Yasmin L. Brown (Marvin) of St Charles, Lawrence A. Faulkner, Jr. of Decatur, Sheryl R. Brooks (Keith) of Champaign and Jada H. Steele of Camden; her close friend James Hemphill of Champaign; and her stepchildren, Eric Hemphill, Stephen Hemphill of Champaign and Leah Sullivan (Lawrence) of Vicksburg, Mississippi.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchild, and a host nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
