It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shane Martin of Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on November 8, 2021, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Donald Martin; and his uncle Joseph Martin. He is survived by: his parents, Russell Martin (Marilyn Mullens) of Whitesville, WV and Christine Martin (Newberry) of Covington, IN; his sisters, Jessica Toth (Donald) of Westville, IL and Nicole Martin of Covington, IN; his grandparents, John, Beverly Newberry of Danville, IL and Elaine Martin of Danville, IL; his uncle Don Martin of Danville, IL; his aunt Amy Newberry of Danville, IL; his cousin Audrey Shumate; his nieces, Leah Martin and Arabelle Toth; his nephew Gavin Toth; and his friends, Shawn Maynor, Linda, Randy Johnson, Jeff Williams and Renee Ferrell.
It is kindly requested that those in attendance of the visitation or services wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Memorials may be made to Toys for Tots, a United State Marine Corp Reserve program to brighten the lives of many children at Christmas.
