We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Sarah Smith (Champaign, Illinois), born in Thomasville, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Glenn Alred and Maggie Alred; her husband Wendell Smith; and her children, Richard (Barbara), Craig (Jo Ann) and Colleen Grogan (Dennis). She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Along the way, while making a new home in city after city, Ellyn brought three children into the world, and was active as a member and leader in the Officers Wives Club, planning charity and social events.
