She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred H. Thompson and Emelyne Thompson; and her sisters, Ethel Beyer and Polen of Maryland. She is survived by: her son Jay Hoeflinger (Donna) of Urbana; her grandsons, Christopher Hoeflinger of Champaign and Daniel Hoeflinger (Jennifer) of Lebanon; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Heck. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to a favorite charity in her memory.
