It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ric Ruggieri (Champaign, Illinois), born in Sherman, Texas, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Ruggieri and Irene Ruggieri; and his siblings, Carlos Cordova and Laura Santhanam. He is survived by: his wife Kerri Ruggieri; his children, Laurie McFarland, Lindsay Ruggieri, Adana Saucedo, Seth O'Connell, Zachary Ruggieri and Jacob O'Connell; and his siblings, Alex Ruggieri and Veda Ruggieri Scholle. He is also survived by his three grandchildren.

“My mom (Mary Mesker) was good friends with Irene, Tic’s mom. I remember going to Irene’s house for dinner (with mom)in the mid ‘70’s. Her cute little son was there, playing the guitar. A few years later, we attended a wedding that he catered. He remembered me. Such a nice young man. I’m so sorry for your loss.”
