Peron Johnson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2021, at the age of 73, Peron Johnson of Champaign, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Johnson and Eleanor Johnson (Dickey); his sisters, Barb Holmes (Don), Sue Watkins (Murray) and Kitty Baker (Bill); his wife Judy Johnson of Champaign; his daughters, Danelle Hnatiw (George) of Scarsdale, Lisa Gadbury (John) of Champaign, Illinois and Sheila Drollinger (Toby) of Champaign, Illinois; his grandchildren, Nicole, Hailey, Sydney and Samantha of Champaign, Illinois.; and his nieces and nephews, Sue Sphar of Peoria, Janna McCommon of Mattoon, Missy Henslee (Scott) of Beebe, Kitty Keener (Tony) of Enterprise, Karen Butler (Matt) of Hilliard, Diana Scott (Mike) of Live Oak, Anne Baker (James) of South Jordan, Utah, Michael Watkins (Linda) of Hilliard, Ohio, Mark Watkins (Tina) of Galena and Matthew Watkins (Patty) of Grove City, Ohio. He was also cherished by grandnieces/nephews and great grandnieces/nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
