She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Wetzel and Margaret Sidwell Wetzel; her stepfather Montelle Hackett; and her brother-in-law Bill Burress of Tuscola. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Howe (Joseph) of Farmer City, IL, Marty Forrest of Springfield, IL and James Reynolds (Tim) of New York City, NY; her siblings, Phyllis Burress of Coconut Creek, FL and Robert Wetzel (Jane) of Reno, NV; and her grandchildren, Jacob Forrest (Kristina) of Farmer City, IL, Lindsey Pritchett (Jason) of Farmer City, IL, Sarah Roth (Tyler) of Bloomington, IL, Elise Howe of Urbana, IL, Addie Howe of Urbana, IL, Jessica Riney (Crystal) of Springfield, IL and Jennifer Collins (Abby) of Springfield, IL. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, 2 nephews, a niece and 5 cousins.
