It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pat Ramshaw of Champaign, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on April 14, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Hamilton and Tom Hamilton; and her siblings, Tom Jr. Hamilton, Mary Gaffigan and Eleanor Mack.

She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Ramshaw; her children, Jerry Ramshaw Jr. (Christie), Alisa Chapman, Laura Baker Susan Ostrowski (Mike) and Kate Ramshaw Henderson; her grandchildren, Courtnie, Jay Ramshaw (Lauren), Meredith Butts (Jordan), Charlie Ramshaw Patrick (Allie), Andrew Ostrowski (Elizabeth), Joe Chapman (Lisa), Nicholas Baker (Jessica), Jamie Eschbach (Matthew), Abigail, Nathan Baker, Erin, Johnny and Jimmy Henderson; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Kennedy, Harper, Charlie Jr., Clara, Hudson, Sloane, Max and Jordan. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to St. Matthew Church or The Highschool of St. Thomas More.

“Dear Ramshaws My wife, Ellie, preceded her dear sister Patti to Heaven only sixteen months earlier and was only fifteen months older. These sisters, so close, each had five wonderful children and lots of grandkids. In the kitchen of our home in Wisconsin, Ellie always kept a framed captioned photo of Patti and her together floating in tubs on a lake, probably on a summer vacation. I would guess Patti was four and Ellie five. The caption: CELEBRATE FAMILY. How fitting for both. Together now.”
