She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Mathias John Kemen and Linda Elizabeth Wittmack Kemen; her husband Richard H. Howard; her daughter-in-law Andrea Rogers Howard; her brother Dr. Mathias John Kemen, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Beth Huftalen Kemen of Ithaca, NY, Prof. John Howard and Mildred Taylor Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Linda E. Howard and Richard E. Howard of Champaign; her nieces, Lynne Kemen (Bill Rossow) of Franklin, NY and Peggy Howard Denny; and her nephew Charles Howard (Marilyn) of Palm Bay, FL.
