He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Palmisano and Rose Palmisano (Gentille); and his wife Catherine Buttitta. He is survived by: his daughter Rose Shahan (James) of Champaign; his grandchildren, Kim, Kelly, Jason, Ashley and Mason; and his great grandchildren, Courtney and Caius. He is also survived by four great-great-grandchildren.

Michael T. Palmisano, 102, of Champaign died at 3:17 p.m. on Oct. 21, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
