With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melinda (Mindy) Saylor-Vargas of Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on February 13, 2025 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Ronald Kirchner; her granddaughter Sydney Arnold; and her brothers, Ronald Saylor and Ricky Kirchner. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Fry Kirchner of White Hall; her daughters, Stephanie Arnold (Jeremy) of Roodhouse and Kelly Buck (Evan Willeford) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Kayden, Wyatt Arnold and Coulson Willeford; her siblings, Rhonda, Kimmy, Joy, Melody and Robert Saylor; and her stepmother Linda Kirchner of Carrollton.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Airsman - Hires Funeral Home - White Hall (234 N Main St, White Hall, IL 62092). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Fernwood Cemetery.
