She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Warner and Mary Bermingham Warner; her daughter Melissa; her sister Helen Squire; her brothers-in-law, Jack Alexander, Jim Irle and Ralph Squire; and her nephew William Thomas Shumate.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph C. Irle; her children, Linda Weathers (Bill) of Grand Detour, Mary Cottier (Dennis) of Normal, Joseph L. Irle (Linda) of Thomasboro, Julia Ness (Ron) of Hinckley, John Irle (Patricia) of Mahomet, Monica Torrance (Scott) of Macomb and Angela Raup (Chuck) of Thomasboro; her sister Kathryn A. Shumate (Bill) of St. Joseph; and her sister-in-law Deanna Alexander of Champaign. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
