She was predeceased by: her parents, George McClellan and Thelma Burton McClellan; her husband Frank Deak; and her siblings, Stella Louise McClellan, Diana Bosserman and Ronald McClellan.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Brownfield (Howard) of Champaign and Ference Deak of Champaign; and her grandchildren, Joseph Brownfield, Maria Evans and Samantha Brownfield. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
