Mary K. Burton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2022, at the age of 95, Mary K. Burton of Champaign, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary K. Burton to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fayte Henderson and Vircie Henderson (Collins); her husband George Burton; her son-in-law James Hastings; her daughters, Patricia Hastings of Monticello, Georgia Elifritz (Steve) of Savoy and Connie Samson of Tolono; her grandchildren, Don Hastings (Mary), David Hastings (Jennifer), Tonya Nelsen (Michael), Ashlee Crowe (Adam) and Patrick Elifritz (Lauren); and her siblings, Juanita Roy, Margaret Lane of Lodge and Charles Henderson. She was also cherished by 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to either Dalton City Christian Church (PO Box 196, Dalton, IL 61925) or Lodge Church of God (2136 Church St, Monticello, IL 61856).
