It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lola Mayes (Champaign, Illinois), who passed away on November 9, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul; and her siblings, Zella, Pauline, Marie, George and Bob.
She is survived by: her children, Gwynne McQueen (Mike) of Urbana, Linda Mitchell (Wayne) of Champaign, Stuart (Linda) of Homer, Patricia Stroh of San Jose, Steven (Julie) of Geneva and David (Jennifer) of Hampton Falls, N. H.; her grandchildren, Melissa Mihalj (Mark), Kate McQueen (Michael Karl Stirn), Kelli McQueen, Betsy Shallenberger (Logan), Ben Mayes, Megan Reynolds (Allen), Laura McQueen, Stephanie Rideout (Kenneth), Paul Mayes (Liz), Brendon Mayes, Philip Mayes, Patrick McQueen and Jenna Mayes; and her great grandchildren, Ama, Mya, Corbin, Cayson Mihalj, Madison, Levi and Maeve Shallenberger.
