He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Lee Richards and Rosetta Gilmer Richards; his grandmother Mary D. Gilmer; his siblings, Brenda Faye Richards and Lamar Richards; his nephew Terrance DeWayne Richards; his great-nephew Jordan Eugene Wilson; and his former wife Mary L. Richard.
He is survived by: his sisters, Dianne Richards Horton and Mary Johnson; his uncle Walter Gilmer; his aunts, Elnora Mack and Mary D. Marshall; his daughter Tina Richards; his nieces, Anitra Nance (Ulysses) and Tiffany N. Wilson (Anthony); his nephew Jeremy Horton (Amber); his granddaughters, Tiana Bell, Brianna Bell, Kianna Taylor and Larreanna Jones; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ulaya Nance, Luna Landeros Lewis, Deon Lewis (Brianna), Jay Terry (Laisha), Anthony Wilson, Jr. and Mylo Terry Gaona; his cousins, Willie Earl Taylor, Jessie Richards and Ella King; and his close friend Clara Bright. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
The Lord called Larry home on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 2:35 p.m. at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.
