She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustavia Slater and Ocie Burrows; her grandparents, Susie and William Slater of Corinth, Mississippi.; her husband Sidney Johnson; and her siblings, Betty Sue Walker and Byron Burrows.
She is survived by: her children, Syreeta Johnson of St. Louis, Sidron Johnson (Stacy Johnson) of Urbana, IL, Nichole Teague of Champaign, IL, Shirley Johnson of Booneville, MS, Charmelle Johnson of Champaign, IL, James Johnson of St. Louis, MO and Jamario Johnson of St. Louis, MO; and her sisters, Stella Davis, Lynnette Burrows, Kenyatta Cooks (Carver) and Wanda King (John). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and relatives.
