He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh James and Mary Helen Conerty (Henry); his brother Hugh Conerty, Jr.; and his granddaughter Lexi Barbour. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Hissong of Patrick's Church; his daughters, Corrine Crawford (Harold) of Thawville, Cheryl LeNeve (Kim) of East Peoria and Cathy Schaeffer (Don) of Taylorville; his grandchild Chris Conerty of Urbana; his sister Cleta Conerty of Champaign; his grandchildren, Darcy Nekolny (Kevin), Phillip Crawford (Skylee), Jeff, Tim Schaeffer and Stasia Conerty; and his great grandchildren, Delaney, Alayna Nekolny of St. Joseph, Sydney, Leo and Ted Crawford of Roberts.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Joseph-Ogden High School FFA, St. Matthew's Church in Champaign, St. Mary School in Taylorville, or an organization of your choice.
