John Garvey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2021 we had to say goodbye to John Garvey of Champaign, Illinois, born in Saint Albans, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Browne Garvey (Browne). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughters, Emilia Packard (Errol), Therese Garvey (Mohammad Jawish) and Madeleine Garvey (Joseph Leigh); his grandchildren, Miriam, Frederick, Thelma Packard and Dina Jawish; his father John Joseph Garvey; and his siblings, Matthew Garvey (Emily Severance), Maura Kohlhafer (Donald), Peter Garvey (Laurie), Elizabeth Garvey and Stephen Garvey (Gina). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Funeral mass will be at 10:30 on Saturday April 24, 2021 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 405 W. Clark Street, where masks and social distancing practices will be observed.
