It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Harshbarger of Champaign, Illinois, born in Urbana, Illinois, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert McClannahan and Ethel McClannahan (Thompson); her son Karl Harshbarger; her husband Kenneth "Lee" Harshbarger; her children, Kraig Harshbarger (Maria) of Luverne, AL, Kurt Harshbarger (Mindy) of St. Joseph and Kristina Pettigrew (Tracey) of Wilmington, NC.; and her brother David McClannahan (Roweena) of Eagle River, AK. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren.
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) we will be only letting in small groups at a time for Joan's visitation and will require a mask be worn.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network or Little Galilee Christian Camp & Retreat Center.
