It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Schweighart of Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on June 30, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Schweighart and Josephine Sullivan Schweighart; his son Jeffrey Dennis Schweighart; and his brothers, Richard and Marion.
He is survived by: his wife Kim; his children, Jerry Schweighart (Vita) of Glenview, Rory Schweighart (Lesley Ponder) of Monticello and Tami Rhodes (Troy) of Mahomet; his grandchildren, Tyler, Sydney, Lexi, Evan, Neal, Elizabeth, Nicole and Jarrod; his great grandchildren, Dax, Sloane and Adara; and his brother John Schweighart (Johannah) of Camargo.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Jerry's honor to the Peacemaker Project 703.
