It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne Spear (Champaign, Illinois), who passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alphe Arseneau and Mae McCarty; her husband Fred M. Spear; her children, Patricia of Chicago and Michael of Champaign; her sister Patricia Wingstrom of Champaign; her nieces, Pat Beaird (Mike) and Charlotte of Champaign; and her nephew Paul Wingstrom (Nancy) of Galveston, Texas..
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jeanne's name can be made to the Marengo Area Schools Educational Foundation, the Marengo Rescue Squad, ASPCA, and the Nature Conservancy.
