James Mueller Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Mueller of Champaign, Illinois, born in Urbana, Illinois, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert D. Mueller and Margaret Mueller; his significant other Nancy Lou Hart; his grandchildren, Michelle Miller (Troy), Jason Young (Erin), Erin Wheeler (Luke), Shelby Falls (Justin), Cole (Jessica), Nate Mueller (Julia), Karson Pacunas Cotter (Nick), Garrison and Bryson Pacunas; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler Miller, Michael Mueller, Mikayla, Mikenna Wheeler, Aubri Young, Ava and Lyla Cotter; and his siblings, Mary Matthis, Robert (late Bob), Ed (late Val), Bill (Jean) and Jack (Mary).
While no formal services are planned, a Celebration of Life will be held in an open-air setting due to Covid at the Rotary Hill Pavilion at Lake of the Woods in Mahomet on Saturday, October 9 starting at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored by any memorials made to the Illinois Alzheimer's Association, 8430 W. Bryn Mawr Ave #800, Chicago, IL 60631, or act.alz.org (Team Pops) in the name of Jim and Nancy Mueller. The family was honored to have their names along with Jim's brother Bill Mueller recognized in the local Walk to END Alzheimer's on October 10, 2020.
