We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2022 we had to say goodbye to James Gerald Nichols of Champaign, Illinois, born in Scottsburg, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Doyle Nichols and Ruby Ethel Arteberry; his wife Nancy Nichols; and his brothers, Michael Roy Nichols and Ricky Doyle Nichols.

He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Glen Nichols (Sue), Lee Arthur Nichols (Julie) and Valerie Nichols (Taylor); his daughters, Julie Kay Nichols (Kempe) and Cynthia Jane Nichols (Applegate); his grandchildren, Rachael Violet Barga (Pope) and Matthew James Barga; and his great grandchild Jayden Matthew Burton.

The family requests that monetary donations be made to either Champaign First United Methodist Church or Bondville United Methodist Church.
