James Albers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Albers in Champaign, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Albers and Magnolia Albers (Bowman). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Morris (Betty); his children, John (Natalie) of Williamsville, Thomas of Pesotum and Lisa of Chicago; his grandchildren, Noel and Michelle Albers; his brother David (Judy); his brother-in-law John Morris Jr. (Doris); his family, Jeremy, Lara, Kolten (Meta), Kaden (Molly), Kira and Kyla Canales; and his niece Patty Douglas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friendship Lutheran Church or St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
