He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pierce and Florence Pierce (Light); his children, Kenneth Pierce and Linda; his siblings, Roy Pierce (Lola), Keith Pierce (Margaret), Harold Pierce, Gene, Mildred Waddell (Les), Evelyn Barnhart (Cecil) and Rhea Endsley (Everett); and his sister-in-law Marilynn Sage (Alvin).

He is survived by: his wife Wilma Pierce (Frerichs); his son Edward Pierce (Heather); his granddaughters, Lacie Douglas (Cory) and Erica Pierce; his great grandchildren, Eric, Dominic, Trey and Drake; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Pierce and Debbie Huls. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, friends.
