She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Adam and Emilie Adam; her husband Elmer Antonsen; and her grandson Benjamin Peterson of Champaign. She is survived by: her daughter Ingrid C. Antonsen (MD); her granddaughter Abigail Peterson; her child Chris Antonsen (Robin Antonsen); and her grandchildren, Tristan Antonsen of Chicago and Tobias Antonsen of Savoy.

Donations in Hannelore's name may be made to the Champaign County Humane Society.

“We are so deeply sorry for your loss to this beautiful soul. She was really one in a million if the family happens to see this I am the granddaughter of Patricia Ward. They were really ,really good friends but had lost contact over the years. I cherish the memories I still have of her when I was only a few years old and my mother and grandmother came to clean she's the beautiful lady that got me hooked on yogurt-covered raisins and they to this day are my favorite go-to snacks . Best wishes”
