It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Doris Pryor (Champaign, Illinois), born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on October 12, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Freeman and Rita Freeman; her husband Herman S. Pryor; her children, Roger A. Pryor and Doris M. Brownridge; and her siblings, Alvin Freeman and Alverta Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Summers of Richton Park, Ill. and James E. Pryor of Champaign, Ill.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
