George T. Shapland Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George T. Shapland of Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife, Nancy Hadley; his parents, Earl Shapland and Lois Shapland of Champaign, IL.; and his brothers, John, Earl, Bob, Jim and Neices Sally, Celia and Sheri and nephew David.

He is survived by : his son Charles Shapland (Julie) of Sidney; his grandchildren, Nick and Hadley; his son Mark Shapland (Sue Nesbitt) of Chicago; his grandchildren, Dan of Chicago, John, Drew of LaGrange, IL and Laura Shapland (Brent Koester); his grandduaghter Chloe; his step-granddaughter Madison Koester; and his step-grandson, Colton Koester. He is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews.
