It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Franklin of Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hendrick and Sarah Ellen "Sadie" Rice (Jones); her spouse Irven Franklin; her daughters, Kathy Peavler and Nancy Helmick; her grandson Michael Helmick; and her siblings, Bud Rice, Earl Rice, Arthur Rice, Leona Miller and Lena Rice.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Joel Helmick (Cindy) of Tolono, IL, Kevin Helmick (Amanda) of Tuscola, IL, Bryndon Helmick (Melissa) of Paducah, KY and Marci Blocher of Urbana, IL. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
