He was predeceased by: his parents, Orral L. Burdette and Helen Grace Burdette; and his brother Jim Burdette. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; and his daughters, Michelle Feamster (Richard) of Hickory, NC, Christa Valkanos (Dimosthenes) of Naperville, IL, Jennifer Williams (Emery) of Champaign, IL and Emily Hays (Eric) of North Bend, WA. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Owens Funeral Home (101 N Elm St, Champaign, IL 61820).
