He is survived by: his sister-in-law Garnet McMillan of St. Joseph, Ill; his nephews, Scott McMillan of Cypress, TX and Steven L. Smith of Mesa; his son Jason Smith; his nephew John L. Smith of Danville, IL; his great-niece Susan Adamson of Mahomet, IL; and his pet Tiffy. He is also survived by 10 great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church.
