She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Chapman and Mina Wheeler Chapman; her husband George Sanford August; her sons, Jeff Sanford (Susan) of Urbana and Jon Sanford of Champaign; her grandchildren, Stephanie Parnes (Jon) of Boca Raton, FL, Michael Sanford (Cody) of Boca Raton, FL, Jeffrey Sanford, Jr. (Angela) of Gifford and Jon Sanford (Amy) of Catlin; and her sons, Scott Sanford and Stephen Sanford. She was also cherished by seven great-grandchildren.
