She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward and Daisy B. Schultz Chapman; her husband Lewis S. Colbert; her daughter Sheryl Colbert Benson; and her siblings, Donald Chapman and Mildred Chapman.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Stinson (Craig) of Champaign; her son-in-law Paul Benson of Champaign; her grandchildren, Gary Benson (Dianne) of Denver, CO, Jill Tipton (Jake) of Cary, NC, Jeff Stinson (Aeimee) of Ellensberg, WA, Mark Stinson (Jessie) of Mahomet, Matthew Stinson (Noelle) of Champaign and Amy Crompton (Nick) of Champaign; and her niece Linda Arends (Erwin) of Decatur. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
