It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Owens of Champaign, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Owens and Pauline Owens; and his siblings, Roger and Sharon. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Cheek (Kyle) and Casey Hickman (Chad); his wife Cathy Owens (McMahan); his grandchildren, Emily, Madison, Penelope, Aiden and Evan; and his sister Deborah.
