It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David L. Chestnut of Champaign, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Chestnut and Florence Chestnut. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia of Champaign; his siblings, William F. Chestnut (Kim) of Pleasant Plains, Mike Chestnut (Donna Davlantis) of Springfield, Tim Chestnut (Marina) of Rochester, James Chestnut (Elaine) of Riverton, Nancy Phillips of Pawnee and Patricia Patrick (Kevin) of Jacksonville, Florida.; his daughters, Leah Herold (Scott) of Elgin and Lindsay Chestnut (Sean Monroe) of Baltimore, Maryland; and his stepdaughters, Tara Kuebler (Jacob) of Savoy, Jordan Harris of Cedar Rapids and Cori Walker (Michael) of Coralville. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
