He was predeceased by: his parents, Hance Nelson and Wilma Nelson (Merrick); and his brothers, Hans and Donald. He is survived by: his wife Carol Urban Halliday; his sons, Craig Nelson, Michael Nelson and Jeremy Nelson; and his siblings, John Nelson, Ron Pellum and Donna Ditler. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
